oUR APPROACH
Our Theory of Change shows how YSD’s programmes empower youth, strengthen communities, and create measurable impact across five strategic areas.

How It Was Developed
This new Theory of Change was led by Nicole Bristol-Robinson, who has served as YSD’s Strategic Consultant and Organisational Development Lead over the past year, and is currently an advisory board member. She worked closely with the YSD team, holding a series of focused workshops to ensure everyone understood what a Theory of Change is and could contribute meaningfully.
Together, we streamlined the thematic areas, refined short-, medium-, and long-term outcomes, and ensured all outcomes are realistic, measurable, and aligned with YSD’s vision, mission, and values.

HOW WE MEASURE IMPACT
YSD uses surveys, focus groups, programme monitoring, and community insights to track progress and ensure alignment with our vision, mission, and values. All outcomes are connected to measurable success indicators to guide continuous improvement.
Our Commitment
At YSD, we are driven by a clear purpose: to empower young people, strengthen communities, and create lasting positive change.
Every programme, every intervention, and every engagement is guided by our commitment to achieving measurable impact, promoting equity, and fostering leadership.
We are motivated by the belief that young people are catalysts for transformation. Through our Theory of Change, we ensure that our actions are intentional, our outcomes are measurable, and our determination to see real change is unwavering.
