Usawa Agenda is a Kenyan not-for-profit organisation promoting educational justice through research, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement. Over the past 13 years, they have partnered with various organizations to assess the state of basic education nationwide. In 2023, following a partner capacity assessment, Youth for Sustainable Development Machakos Chapter was selected as their collaborating partner for the Literacy and Numeracy assessment in Machakos County, leading to the publication of the Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Assessment (FLANA) Report
